Purpose Of This Privacy Policy

Rapidz takes your privacy very seriously and we want you to feel comfortable knowing what information we collect and how it is and is not used.

This Privacy Policy sets out the type of information collected by Rapidz and governs the way in which we collect, use and store it.

Rapidz uses your Personal Information for the following purposes:

  • to register businesses as a new customer and identify the contact details of their personnel;
  • To agree contracts and deliver website creation and hosting services;
  • to provide outsourced marketing services to its customers
  • to manage accounts for example to manage payments, fees and charges and to collect and recover money owed to Rapidz;
  • to manage Rapidz’ relationship with its customers/users;
  • to notify users about changes to its terms or Privacy Policy;
  • to administer and protect the Rapidz business and Its website (including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, system maintenance, support, reporting and hosting of data)
  • To use data analytics to improve the Rapidz website.

Personal Information: what is it and do I have to provide it to use the Website?

Rapidz does not operate a mandatory registration service and does not require you to enter any Personal Information in order to view the Website.

Personal Information (also known under European data protection laws as personal data) means any information that could identify you as a distinct individual such as your name, home address or email address.  Personal Information may also include other things such as your medical history, employment details, financial history or even your information about your education or training.  These are just examples of Personal Information and Rapidz certainly does not collect all of this information.  Rapidz does not collect any Personal Information unless you voluntarily decide to communicate with us, for example by contacting us via our Website (please see below).  The Personal information collected is your name and email address.  In addition to this Personal Information, we also collect company address, company details, company payment details and financial details.  The information that we collect from you is needed for the purposes listed above.

We do not generally collect any Special Categories of Personal Data about you (this term refers to the various categories of personal data identified by the European and other data privacy laws as requiring special treatment and is a type of Personal Information).  Examples, includes details about your race or ethnicity, personal identity numbers, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health and genetic and biometric data. Nor do we collect any information about criminal convictions and offences.

We do however, collect, use and share Aggregated Data (such as statistical or demographic data) for various purposes. Aggregated Data may be derived from your Personal Information but is not generally considered “personal data” in law if this data does not directly or indirectly reveal your identity. For example, we may aggregate your usage data to calculate the percentage of users accessing a specific webpage. However, if we combine or connect Aggregated Data with your Personal Information so that it can directly or indirectly identify you, we treat the combined data as Personal Information which will be used in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

 

How We Use Your Information

Rapidz uses the information that you provide or that we collect to manage our business (please see above) and to operate, maintain, enhance, and provide the features and services found on our Website as well as to track the pages visited on our Website.

Browser-type related information, IP address, requested URL, referring URL, timestamp data and other automatically collected information may be used to help us diagnose problems with our server and administer the Website. In addition, we use this information to perform statistical analyses of user behaviour and characteristics in order to measure interest in and use of the various pages of the Website.
